A Tale of two Crazies
Was it really needed, to remake Romero's 1973 gem? No. But the remake train has to go on rolling. The remake's trailer starts off fair enough. But then the trailer revels the 28 Days Later infected/zombies or whatever you want to call them. The joy of the original was that the infected people looked the same as everyone else save for the fact that they were batshit nuts. Will I watch it? On DVD yes. But I don't hold a lot of hope for it. And are they outrunning a nuclear blast in that trailer? Great more outrunning the explosion fun. I call bullshit.

I dont give a crap about this one at all! Not only is the zombie movie done to death, but this one looks like it hasnt got an original strand of hair on its head.
As you say, maybe on dvd. Maybe.
An astute mention, on your part, of the 28 DAYS LATER franchise... to me, Romero's original always seemed like sort of an experimental precursor to 28... and now, it's only fitting in today's lazy Hollywood film production culture that a remake of same should be a plain ol' retread of 28... *sigh*
