It's amazing how powerful a character The Joker has turned out to be over the years - not just in this cinematic incarnation, but EVERY time and in every era where he's featured, including the times of Cesar Romero and Jack Nicholson, he kinda hijacks the Bat-lore and becomes the focal point. The Joker is the best example of the simple fact that, when it comes to movies, the bad guys are way more fun.
Agreed. Joker and some of the other Bat villains are what make me want to read the comics or see the movies and cartoons. Never been interested in Bats as much as I am the villains. Same goes for Spider Man.
