The day after the big basketball game at an Ohio collage the annual scavenger hunt is held. But this year a killer in a bear suit is stalking the party crazy collage kids. Can security guard Hal Holbrook save the day? And not look like he wants to be somewhere else? And how many fart jokes will this film inflict on the viewer.
Ah Girls Nite Out, why oh why do I love you so? Is it your thirty something aged collage students or is it 80's sex comedy shenanigans? Or your killer dressed in a bear costume?
I'd have to say I love all of it. It mixes together into a nice cheesy stew of slasher goodness.
There's no real final girl in the film and Hal Holbrook's Mac the security guard isn't in it enough to be a main character. But hell when you have a killer in a bear costume with knives for claws who hisses out "Slut! Bitch! Whore!" every time he kills, you really don't need any of that.
On another note the ending is rather abrupt but has a rather creepy charm. As long as you don't expect Halloween or Friday the 13th you won't be disappointed.
