Goodbye John Hughes, Rest In Peace

FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, THE BREAKFAST CLUB, SIXTEEN CANDLES, WEIRD SCIENCE, PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES, UNCLE BUCK, PRETTY IN PINK, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION, THE GREAT OUTDOORS. To name a few. He either wrote or directed or did both on these films. Many of these movies were a big part of my childhood and influenced a lot of how the 80's are viewed.

Goodbye Mr. Hughes. Thanks for so many wonderful memories.

Professor: Ferris Bueller's Day off. Lord, I only wish I had a dollar for every time that tape ran through my VCR back in the day - it became as close to a friend as a movie can come.

Sleep well, Sir. -- Mykal

Adieu Lord Hugues.

A part of my best teen dreams come falling apart. He had a true and sensible vision of our youth.

Thanks for so generous and deep breakfasts.
